"Depression is my War" - by Amaya Blanding
Depression is my war
Depression is like a war either you win or die trying
Lying in bed jus crying
Can't get out of bed in the morning
An it's not because you stayed up till 4:30
Because 4 am knows all your worst and embarrassing moments
Knowing that your broken
but can't do anything to change the fact
Thoughts crippling your freedom swirling in your mind back to back
This is something where I can an also cannot give you 13 reasons why

This is something where I can an also cannot give you 13 reasons why
To cut my wrists seems like a cry for help
When I'm only doing it to distract myself
Leaving scars that tells the world your damaged
Is a real disadvantage
People look at you with pity
Treat you like you’re a China doll, bound to break
So, you take to other body parts you can manage
Like your thighs or stomach
Looking at that girl, she's smiling
But if you look in her eyes she’s breaking inside
Becuz faking a smile is so much easier than explaining why your sad
